A hundred years ago this was a widespread and common weed. Now it thrives only in fields were the farmer for the sake of the environment and the poppies doesn't sort his seed too well and lets the poison sprayer stand in the yard. Happily many farmers at the island of Gotland do so! Papaver Rhoeas
